In early 2002, Tom Lagana released his first recording, Patuxent.
After a sell out performance at the Ram's Head Tavern National
Showcase Mainstage, the CD began to climb the National Jazz Airplay
charts, where it stayed for over nine consecutive weeks before
peaking at 17th most-requested in the nation. At the same
time, Patuxent was garnering over 370 spins a week on more
than 50 radio stations across the country. In late September
of 2002, Patuxent was placed in WICN of Worcester, MA's "Ten
Most Requested CD's". Classical Guitar Demo/ Classical Repertoire In April of 2005, Tom Lagana was chosen to play for classical composer and guitarist Carlo Domeniconi at the Long Island Guitar Festival. Lagana performed Koyunbaba, arguably the composer's most famous work. |
